Master of Science and Technology Environmental Sciences
ENVSDS8735

Study requirements
This program is designed to study the nature of environmental problems and methodologies of evaluation. Emphasis is placed on a basic technological understanding of key environmental issues and problems, and on development of relevant skills in environmental analysis, planning, management and control

Entry Qualifications
Four year degree of appropriate standard in a relevant science or engineering based discipline, or a three year program of an appropriate standard in a relevant degree with at least two years relevant postgraduate experience

Program Requirements
Candidates are required to complete a program of study totalling 48 Units of credit where 6 units of credit are a core course and the remaining 36 units of credit may optionally include a project of 6 or 12 units of credit. Where students select the option of a 12 credit project they must also complete SESC9900 Project Methods unless they can demonstrate prior knowledge Students would normally select a structured program of electives from the groups of electives below however individual programs may be selected course to the approval of the program co-ordinator. The degree will normally comprise one full time year of study or two years of part time study
