Assumed Knowledge : This is a core course in the Occupational Medicine program and an elective course for all other programs.
  
Description :

This course will be delivered only in off campus (distance)  mode by Dr John Frith.


This course introduces students to safety, health and/or environmental (SHE) epidemiology. The course has a preparatory component where basic statistical and epidemiological concepts and measures, epidemiological study designs and their application in a variety of SHE contexts are introduced. This is followed by a more in depth analysis of the SHE literature using reviews of epidemiological papers and analysis of epidemiological case studies to explore course issues and themes.
